Susan Pope, Ph.D.

Dr. Pope is Program Manager for the Social Work Evaluation Program. She manages the three SWEP research projects. She obtained her Ph.D. in Human and Organization Development from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara , California. She also has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage . Before becoming program manager for SWEP, Dr. Pope administered a statewide grant to develop and implement training to the staffs of 20 children’s residential facilities in Alaska . She has worked as Staff Development Coordinator for a school system, training manager for a bank, and psychotherapist in private practice.
